2012 RI Compost Conference and Trade Show
Registration is open for the 2012 RI Compost Conference and Trade Show that will take place on Monday February 27 2012 at Hope Artiste Village 1005 Main St Pawtucket.
The need for a much expanded compost industry in Rhode Island was on display in Johnston this past fall, and it is going to take the concerted effort of all of us to reach that goal. The 2012 Rhode Island Compost Conference and Trade Show is an opportunity to find your allies and future partners in this endeavor.
Trade show slots are being taken up rapidly with Eco Asset Inc., Earthcare Farm, Full Circle Recycling, Waste Management, Southside Community Land Trust, National Equipment Association, the Worm Ladies of Charlestown, the Allu Group, Rhode Island Resource Recovery Corporation, and Earth Appliance among those already signed up to exhibit.
Confirmed speakers include Michael Virga, Executive Director of the US Compost Council, Joshua Nelson of Agrilabtech, Phil Holloway of Environmental Products and Services of Vermont, Nancy Warner of the Worm Ladies of Charlestown, and Michael Bradlee of Earth Appliance.
The Conference and Trade Show is currently being sponsored by Waste Management, Full Circle Recycling, Johnson and Wales University, Eco Asset Inc, Renewable Now, ECORI.org, and New Harvest Coffee.
Please consider participating in this effort to build the compost industry in Rhode Island, attend, exhibit, or sponsor the 2012 Rhode Island Compost conference and Trade Show

Everything You Do In Life Counts
8 Rules to Achieving Better Work / Life Balance
Increased competition. Disruptive technologies. Higher expectations. Less time. More stress. Everything moving faster. The feeling of not being able to keep up.
If any of these are things that you experience even occasionally, you’re not alone. In our ‘microwave society’ where almost everyone insists on instant results, the pressures to keep it all going both at home and at work can get overwhelming.
In this light-hearted presentation about very serious topics, Brian Butler will explore the common issues associated with the feelings of being out-of-balance and some uncommon approaches for getting things back under control.
